Besides the usual stereotype about italians not respecting the rules (only an irresponsible mother could put a child in the car without using the car seat....and police now if more and more strict abotu those rules - the city make money!), I had fun reading your trip!
It is always interesting to understand how tourists face issues during their vacations nad learn what their impressions are after visiting places.

I knew it, there was gonna be pizza and pasta in this post. LOL! Among all the posts that I've read about people going to Italy for a vacation, food was the most common topic. People seem to allot a huge part of their trip's budget to try out the country's local cuisine. I don't blame them! If I were to visit Italy, I wouldn't leave until I sink my teeth on their specialty pizzas.
